Financial Policy

Dr. Bauman and his staff are honored to be a team whose primary concern is to deliver the finest and most comprehensive periodontal services available today. We care about your dental health and want to ensure you that your treatment is performed in the most responsible manner. We are committed to running a financially responsible practice that benefits our patients through high quality, high value results facilitated by our ongoing investment in state of the art equipment and extensive continuing education for the doctor and all our staff. In order to assist you with the investment in your dental health, we have outlined our payment policy.

Emergency/Single Visit Payments

For single visit procedures, our policy is that payment is due in full at the time of service. For you convenience we accept cash, checks, money orders, and credit card payment (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover).

Multiple Visit Payment Options

  • Option 1: Full Payment at Time of Service – A professional courtesy for payment by cash, check, credit, debit, or HSA card will apply.
  • Option 2: Open Account Payment Plans – An in-office payment plan of up to six (6) payments may be utilized. The first payment is due the day of service, the next payment due a month later, etc. A small administrative fee is required. Please contact our Financial Coordinator for details.
  • Option 3: Outside Financing – For those who would prefer an extended payment plan, we can help arrange “No Interest “ and “Low Interest loans.” Care Credit, Citi Health MasterCard, and Springstone Financial provide various options to help meet your individual needs.

For your convenience, payments may be made with cash, personal check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover. If you have any questions, please ask our staff. They are well informed and up-to-date. Please call if you have any questions or concerns regarding your initial visit.

Insurance Policies

While we are not a participating provider of any insurance plans, our office will work with you to pursue the maximum reimbursement for dental insurance plans. Our insurance coordinator deals with many different insurance companies. Insurance policy benefits, co-pays, and deductibles are subject to change. We will do our best to keep you as informed as possible regarding your dental coverage; however, insurance reimbursement is a contract between you, your employer, and your insurance carrier, and you are responsible for the payment of your account within the limits of our financial policy. Any insurance reimbursement will go directly to you.

As a courtesy to our patients with dental insurance, we will be happy to submit the necessary claim forms on your behalf.
Please bring your insurance information with you to your initial consultation/visit so that we can expedite reimbursement to you.
